Very attractive Gettysburg medal. Given to veterans present for the dedication of the New York monument in 1893. Unlike typical thin, cheesy GAR medals this is heavy and solid, really a neat medal with great color. All complete with some separation in the ribbon on the white stripe; Not bad but worth mentioning (See photos). Well done suspension from the upper bar which reads "GETTYSBURG VETERAN JULY 1-2-3 1863". Would look great in any Civil War display.
