Decent example Hitler Youth knife with motto. There is an unfortunate oxidation spot right on the "und" (See photos). Otherwise, blade shows age but no abuse and cross graining is still easily identifiable on the back. No sharpening. RZM M7/36. Handle shows similar use and not abuse. Plating shows some freckling. Grips are undamaged. Diamond is nice but has a discoloration to a small area on one of the red fields. Scabbard is undented and actually has most paint intact. The strap is damaged heavily with the upper tie-down straps missing, The main loop of the strap is broken and there is a further period repair further down. While the scabbard is gone and there is a lot of leather left on the strap it is best to consider it a write-off. It is not the best HJ knife but it is decent and priced right.
