| Good condition example of a WWII German pilot's helmet. Leather is soft, clean and strong throughout. Metal buttons, hooks and catches are all age patinated but in proper working order. Rabbit fur and wool inside are osft, clean and all stiched properly into place. Fabric tag sewn inside is clear and undamaged, reading "FL Kopfhaube Gr" (Pilot's head helmet) followed by the codes and lot numbers and the maker name, Hersteller. Only minus on this one is that it looks like a tab may be missing on the rear just over the nape of the neck (see last photo). Besides this hard to notice flaw this is a top notch example. | ||||||||||||
