| Nice, solid WWII German single decal helmet. It is sometimes tough to tell, but this does look like a gold decal which would make it Kriegsmarine. Decal shows considerable wear but is undoubtable. Chinstrap is decent and liner is all there but has a signifcant tear in the rear. The shell is in general pretty nice. The lot number on the rear skirt is interesting as it has the rare addition of "DN". This is a seldom used abbreviation that indicates the helmet was made in Germany and not an occupied territory (A lot of German hardware was actually made in Czechoslovakia and other territories). All in all a decent helmet priced right. | |||||||||||||||
