I know army officer daggers are about as common as squirrels with fluffy tails but this one stands out far above the pack and if you have even one example in your collection this should be it. The early quality fittings have just the prettiest, even, buttery smooth patina you can imagine. The dark pumpkin colored handle shows no chipping under the knot. Scabbard is undented. Blade is just an absolute screamer with factory fresh darkening to the Original Eickhorn logo. The only aspect I can find that is not flat out perfect is just some very minor tapping to the pommel (See last two photos). I know the price is up there where the fancy dealers ask but considering the package it is fair and I honestly don't mind if I never sell this dagger. It is fun just sharing it; It is Superfly TNT.
